Dear Friends,

It is with bitter sweet emotions that I am making this announcement (the most prominent of these emotions are appreciation, gratification, and thankfulness, among others).

After 40 years of service as a Hairstylist in Paris—with 20 of those years, as the owner and operator of Mark Clement Salon, I wish to inform you that I will be semi-retiring, effective October, 2019. Thus my salon, the Mark Clement Salon, located at, 58, rue Volta, Paris, 75003 is permanently closing.

I would also like to take this opportunity, to thank you all. More particularly, my family, who supported, and helped with the creation of Mark Clement Salon. And equally , my appreciation and love. To my mentors, Mr Marquin Montgomery Martha. And, the late Mr Winston Archibald Isaacs. For your love, friendship, motivation, and guidence.

Thanks also to all of my dear friends, especially Priscilla Lalisse-Jespersen, whose internet article, “Combing for a black hair salon in Paris,” was the beginning of the Salon's worldwide internet recognition. As a result of that internet exposure, Mark Clement Salon was fortunate and blessed to have a culturally rich, diverse, multi ethnic clientele.

I also would like to thank all of the talented Hair Stylists who have worked with me over the years at Mark Clement Salon. Thank you for your contribution to the Salon's reputation of professional excellence.

And last, but not least, special thanks to my dear clients for your trust, support, and patronage over these many years. You truly made my dream become a reality. You witnessed the passion I have for my craft, and you participated in my amazing journey!

As I mentioned above, I will be SEMI retired. For those clients who are interested in a continuation of my services, I will be available and still working on a part-time basis.
Thus, I will also announce my new contact information shortly.

In closing, I would like to again extend my gratitude and appreciation to all. And, I would also like to share the following poem with you, of which I can relate, and could not have said it better.
