Just outside Paris, Foire de Chatou is France’s largest antiques and brocante fair, bringing together over 300 dealers selling everything from beautiful chandeliers and gilded mirrors to antique furniture, silverware, artwork and vintage designer fashion.
I visited last year, and here’s everything you need to know before you go!

📅 September 25 – October 4, 2026
🎟️ Entry: €10
🚆 Getting there: Take the RER A to Rueil-Malmaison, then follow the signs to the fair.
💶 Bring cash! Many dealers accept cards, but cash is useful for bargaining. You’ll also need coins for the toilets, and there’s no ATM on the grounds.
🍽️ Make time for lunch! The food is part of the experience, with traditional French dishes and plenty of places to enjoy a leisurely meal.
Whether you’re a serious collector or simply love browsing beautiful things, there’s something here for every taste and budget.

A legendary Parisian institution dating back to 1893. Think incredible Art Nouveau interiors, dinner with live music and a gorgeous upstairs bar you shouldn’t miss.

📍 2. CAFÉ MARLY — For breakfast with a view

93 Rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris

One of my favourite spots for breakfast overlooking the Louvre. Sit on the terrace with a coffee, watch the world go by, and take a stroll through the Tuileries Gardens afterwards.

📍 3. SIENA — For a glamorous night out .paris

35 Place du Marché Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris

A celebrity favourite serving Italian food, with a fabulous late-night atmosphere and a speakeasy upstairs.

My tip: Book a late table when the place really comes alive!

📍 4. LE GRAND CAFÉ — For an elegant Parisian lunch .paris

1 Place Clemenceau, 75008 Paris

Located at the Grand Palais, with a beautiful terrace, elegant interiors and gorgeous food. Perfect for lunch after visiting an exhibition.

And whatever you do, save room for the pavlova!

📍 5. LE BON GEORGES — For a proper French bistro experience

45 Rue Saint-Georges, 75009 Paris

A classic Parisian bistro known for its incredible steaks, extensive w**e list and chocolate mousse. A wonderful spot for a traditional French dining experience.
