Running my own business has taught me a level of resilience I genuinely didn’t know I had.
A couple of years ago, I was so naive. I believed what people told me, questioned myself far too much and listened to everyone else before I listened to my own gut.
Business has changed that.
It’s taught me to back myself, trust my decisions and stop looking outside for reassurance all the time.
And probably the biggest change? Confidence.
When I first opened the shop, I had almost none. There were genuinely times I wondered if I’d even make it to the two-year mark.
But here we are. 🙌
Seeing so many regular clients still coming through the door some who have been with me right from the very beginning has probably been one of the biggest eye-openers of all.
It reminds me that I must be doing something right. 🖤
And we’re only getting started.

People often say, “You’re so lucky to have your own barber shop and your own clientele.”
And I am incredibly grateful but building your own business takes a lot of work, consistency and plenty of ups and downs.
If you’ve always wanted to start your own business, my biggest piece of advice would be: just start. There’s never going to be a perfect time. If you believe you can do it, back yourself and go for it.

Things are changing up at AB15… 👀✂️
I’m excited to officially announce that SQUIRE has landed at AB15 Barbers!
All existing appointments have already been transferred over from the previous system, so if you’re already booked in, you don’t need to do a thing. 🙌
From today, all new appointments can be booked directly through my new online booking system.
This is another step forward for AB15 and all part of making your experience from booking your appointment to sitting in the chair even better.
And there’s more happening behind the scenes… 👀

👀 Something BIG is coming to AB15 Barbers… but I can’t spill it all just yet.
All I can say is… we’re only getting started.
Behind the scenes, I’ve been working on some pretty exciting things from pushing my barbering skills even further to plans to level up the shop and the whole AB15 look.
There’s a much bigger vision for AB15, and I honestly can’t wait for you to see it all come together.
2027 is going to look very different around here… 👀

There’s something I’ve always wanted AB15 Barbers to be known for and it goes far beyond a good haircut.
When you sit in my chair, you’re never just the next appointment in the diary.
I remember the conversations, the usual cuts, the little details because to me, that’s what makes a barber more than just somewhere you go for a trim.
Building AB15 and becoming part of this community has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve done, and I’m incredibly grateful for every person who chooses my chair.
So, here’s my promise to you…
You’ll be listened to.
You’ll never be rushed in and out.
You’ll be remembered.
And most importantly, you’ll always be valued. 🧡
