Retinol is one of the most effective ingredients in skincare—but stronger doesn’t always mean better. The best results come from choosing the right formula and allowing your skin time to adapt.

Used consistently, retinol can help to:

✨ improve skin texture and tone
✨ soften fine lines
✨ support collagen production
✨ reduce breakouts and pigmentation

Start with a low strength 1–2 evenings per week, apply a pea-sized amount to clean, dry skin and follow with a barrier-supporting moisturiser. Avoid combining it with strong acids at the beginning, and always wear SPF50 during the day.

If your skin becomes very dry, irritated or starts peeling excessively, slow down and focus on repairing the skin barrier.

Retinol is a long-term relationship, not a quick fix. Consistency and the right strength matter far more than using the strongest product available.
