Sola Brows & Beauty Aberdeen

The renovation has been going on for a month now, and it’s taught me something I didn’t expect.

I expected support from my regular clients. Many of them have been with me for years, and their kind words, encouragement and excitement about this new chapter mean so much to me.

What I didn’t expect was the support from people who barely know me.

For the past month, I’ve been working almost exclusively with joiners, plumbers, painters and other tradespeople. Most of them have only met me once or twice. They aren’t my clients, they don’t know my journey, and they have no connection to my industry.

Yet they have shown me an incredible amount of kindness.

Every time I ask if they need paying, if they need money for materials, or if we should settle an invoice, I hear:

“Don’t worry.”
“We’ve got everything we need.”
“Focus on building your business.”

They understand what it’s like to invest in something, to take risks and to build a business from the ground up.

Honestly, I’m amazed by the trust, patience and support I’ve received from people who were complete strangers just a few weeks ago.

It’s been one of the most unexpected and heartwarming parts of this whole journey. 🤍
