It’s been a while since I properly introduced myself on here and I know there are a lot of new followers, so Hi! Im Shanna, owner of Collective Studios 🤍

I’ve been in the hair industry for over 13 years now and still genuinely love what I do. I specialise in hair styling & bridal hair, alongside running the salon and growing Collective Training Academy, where I get to pass on everything I’ve learned over the years to other stylists.

A little bit about me outside the salon…

🤍 I’m a mum of three — Mollie, Finlay & baby Theo
🤍 I’m usually juggling about 47 things at once
🤍 I absolutely love anything creative
🤍 Bridal hair will always have a special place in my heart
🤍 I won Best Wedding Hair at the SHABA Awards in 2025, which still feels pretty surreal
🤍 And despite being in this industry for years, I’m still constantly learning, changing things and thinking about what I want to do next!

Collective has changed so much since I first opened the doors, and so has my role within it. I’m not just behind the chair anymore, I’m a stylist, educator, salon owner, content creator, admin department 😂 and everything else that comes with running a business.
