The most wonderful description of how your body live streams art.
The ink does not just sit there. Your body never accepts it.
When a needle breaks the skin, your immune system launches a response to massive foreign contamination. It sends heavy-duty cleanup cells called macrophages to swallow the pigment. But the ink particles are too large to dissolve. The cells simply choke on it, becoming trapped in place and holding the dye visibly under the skin.
Decades later, those cells die. They split open, spilling the ink back into your tissue. Instantly, fresh macrophages rush in and swallow the pigment again.
A lifelong tattoo is not a drawing. It is an active, permanent biological standoff. Every faded edge and blurred line of an old tattoo is just the microscopic drift of ink being handed from a dying cell to a newly born one.

🫣Please do not arrive for your brows with a face like a Japanese 🇯🇵flag. Ink will literally not sit in inflammation and I’ll need to reschedule you. I just cannot tattoo sunburnt skin or even slightly red skin so let me know if there’s an issue prior to arrival. This heat’s insane ladies stay hydrated. Best advice please please wear a hat if I’m seeing you this week. Enjoy the sun 🌞

Most people don’t know I do tattoo lightening. I won’t call it removal because it is a process that depends on the bodies ability to break down the pigments. Using a purpose manufactured saline. needling the skin to break up the brow / liner / lips causing the issue.
9 yrs later I’ve never had to remove my own work. Not once because I’ve never been asked. I do however do a monthly removal other people’s work. Then replace this with my own. I offer removal for free in some circumstances just out of respect for the industry and the person affected.
This is my latest brow rehab. Removing a brow placed to low on the brow creating a hooded lid appearance. Also the technique used placed the pigment to deep in the skin layers. Scarring is a risk whenever breaking the skin that must be avoided if new brows are to succeed. This stunning ladies brows need to be a blonde taupe rich in colour but light on pigment. Perfectly matching and making her eyes sing again.
If you have brows that won’t lighten and could do with some TLC removal message me. Angela 🫀
