3 things you need to know when Grey Blending!

Removing warmth will make your clinet feel darker, especially if they have a lot of pepper.

Our foils need to be fine to create that natural soft blend, this is why appointments can be more time consuming and the all over colour wont looks defined like the AI inspos we see

Grey Blending is low maintenance compared to a root blend, it’s not now maintenance, the colour will still fade warm, like all artificial colour, it’s not a one and done kinda thing..

Everyone’s hair fades warm!! Damaged hair fades warm FAST!!

And everyone (unless you’re 100% white) has underlying warmth in their natural hair - even if it’s not technically visable to the naked eye.

However no matter how much warmth is in a clients hair.. should not be the reason used for hair fading very warm very quick or the reason they can’t have ash/cools tones.

Ash/cool colours can be a pain to work with as they fade faster than warm tones (on everyone’s hair)

How to make the colour last longer?..it’s a collab between the stylist and the client, the right formula and products used in salon with the right home care post app.

Is heat really that bad for hair?!.. NO!! ⬇️

If your hair is healthy and heat is applied in moderation with the correct products.

If your hair is Damaged.. not matter how much money you invest in products.. it will stay fu**ed if you continue to constantly use heat on it.

It’s like investing in a p.t and a gym membership but continuing to have unhealthy takeout every single night 😵‍💫😵‍💫

Is this a good analogy..? I have no idea 🤣 let me know if it makes sense or give me a better one!!

🚫 Part 2 📛 2 Hour transformation results ‼️

As the hairdresser we can only do so much, gorgeous healthy hair comes from a solid collab with our clients 🤌🏽

Prep and home care is key, the results we achieved today in only 2 hours is insane and I can only take partial credit because my client listened to everything I said and she took the brief seriously 😋 and now her hair looks unreal!!

Right now we are going with the flow, she’s going to continue with home care and improving the health of her hair, we are going to do another all over demi at her next appointment and then decide if she wants to add some lighter pieces throughout the next time.. stay tuned ☺️
