This week I visited Frameless in London… and I absolutely loved it. Immersive art, colour, movement and light wrapped around me in a way that felt both uplifting and deeply soothing.

I’ve always believed in the therapy of colour and light for the soul — and today reminded me why.

Colour therapy has long been used to support emotional balance, reduce stress and stimulate creativity. Research in chromotherapy shows that different colours can influence our mood and energy:
• Blue calms the nervous system
• Yellow lifts the spirit
• Green supports balance and renewal
• Red energises and activates

And light therapy is widely recognised for improving wellbeing, supporting circadian rhythm, and enhancing emotional clarity. Even brief exposure to bright, dynamic light can increase serotonin and help the body feel more awake and aligned.

Today felt like a reminder that healing doesn’t always come from stillness — sometimes it comes from stepping into colour, movement, and beauty.

As Kandinsky said: “Colour is a power which directly influences the soul.”

We’ve all felt it, that subtle shift when we step into sunlight: the warmth on our skin, the soft rise in mood, the way our whole body seems to breathe a little deeper. We’ve felt that quiet magic of standing in moonlight — that silvery stillness that softens the mind and settles the nervous system. And we’ve all witnessed the energy lift that comes with a golden sunrise, when the world glows and something inside us glows with it.

So, for me standing inside those vast moving artworks, I felt that power — gentle, joyful, and transformative.

Highly recommend Frameless if you’re in London. A beautiful experience for the senses and the spirit. 🌈✨

When the Energy Was So Good… Even the Seagull Wanted In

Sometimes Tai Chi brings deep stillness, and sometimes it brings unexpected visitors.
Yesterday at Waunfawr Community Hall, we had both — and a whole lot of laughter.

During my Tai Chi Movement for Wellbeing session, we were right in the heart of coming home — settling into presence, deep relaxation, and that soft sense of realignment. The room was quiet, everyone breathing into centre… when suddenly:

tap tap tap.

It echoed around the hall. I couldn’t see where it was coming from, so I gently continued guiding everyone deeper into the meditation.
Then again:

tap… tap… tap.

Still nothing visible. We stayed with our breath, with our grounding, with our stillness — and yet the tapping kept returning, as if someone (or something) wanted our attention.

After about five minutes, one of my lovely ladies — who had a clear view of the door — suddenly stood up and said:

“I’ve got to go and look… there’s a seagull tapping on the glass door!”

And we all burst into laughter.

Pure, joyful, unexpected hilarity right in the middle of our Zen moment.

I’ve never known a seagull to knock so politely before.

We must have created such a beautiful, enticing energy that he was desperate to come in and join us.

Pure Zen…
with a side of seagull mischief. 🧘‍♀️😆☮️

🌞 Celebrating a Beautiful Day at Llanrhystud’s Picnic in the Park!

What a wonderful day — huge thanks to the organisers for inviting me to be part of this lovely community event. 🌿

I met so many kind and inspiring people, shared laughter and conversation, and loved being out and about with my Sacred Journeys table — offering affirmations, wellbeing tips, and information on upcoming events at Llanrhystud Memorial Hall.

It was such a joy to connect with old friends and new ones alike, and to share a little of what I do through Tai Chi Movement for Wellbeing, Body Tapping, and EFT.
If you’d like to join in the journey, my next event is:
✨ Roots & Wings – Introduction Evening
📍 Llanrhystud Memorial Hall
🕠 Tuesday 21 July • 5:30 – 7:30 pm • £15

We’ll explore gentle embodiment practices, guided meditation, and simple techniques to restore calm and connection — with light refreshments and a friendly, easy‑going circle.

Come along and be part of this soulful evening — a chance to pause, breathe, and reconnect. 🌸

🌞 Heading to the Carnival – Picnic in the Park today!

I’ll be at Cae Ceredig, Llanrhystud this afternoon for the Picnic in the Park — a wonderful free community event full of colour, music, and laughter.

I’m bringing along information about my upcoming T’ai Chi Movement for Wellbeing classes, plus details of new events coming soon. There’ll also be tarot and intuitive insight for anyone who feels drawn to stop by — along with wise words, gentle energy, and good conversation.

Old friends and new ones are all warmly welcome to come by, say hello, and share in the day’s spirit of connection and community. 🌿✨

✨ You are not a machine.

This message resonates deeply with the heart of my work — the reminder that we are not built for endless output, but for presence, breath, and connection.

In Tai Chi Movement for Wellbeing and my embodiment practices, we explore exactly this: how to slow down, reconnect, and rediscover the rhythm of being human.

Life isn’t a to‑do list — it’s a gift. When we pause, we begin to feel the music of our own soul again.

If you’re ready to rediscover yourself, align with your natural flow, and find your pause, I’d love to welcome you.

🌸 Weekly classes in Aberystwyth (Monday mornings)

🌿 Pop‑up taster sessions across Ceredigion throughout the year
