The prize winning Greenlands flock is based near the University town of Aberystwyth on the Cardigan Bay coast and specialising in the breeding of quality rams for pedigree and crossbred ram production and as terminal sires for the production of higher liveweight gains and larger carcass weights within the upper section of the target area for finished lamb producers.

Both our homebred rams at the Welshpool Native Breeds Sale on Saturday were purchased by Newtown College to cover Texel X ewes with the two year old ram out of Greenlands Chabal selling for 500gns and the shearling out of Greenlands Delboy selling for 480gns.

It was again a fantastic annual sale for the Greenlands Oxford Down flock, with the rams below producing the second and third highest prices at last Saturday's event in Worcester.
Lot 198 sold for 720GNS to Brendan Hall of Caston, Norfolk.
Lot 195 sold for 680GNS to R J Ryan of Abergele, North Wales.
We wish the new owners of all our rams every success with their purchases and we also forward our expression of gratitude to the under bidders and all those involved in the bidding process.
