What can you earn as a PMU artist in 2026?

The truth is, it depends on how quickly you build your confidence, client base, and skills.

My advice is to start by charging model prices. It takes the pressure off, allows you to gain experience, build your portfolio, and perfect your technique.

As your confidence grows, your prices can grow too.

For example, if you’re charging £100–£150 per model and treating just 2 clients a week, that’s £200–£300 a week while you’re still learning. As your skills and demand increase, many artists gradually move to £250–£500+ per treatment.

The important thing is that you can start earning as soon as you qualify. You don’t need to wait until you’re “perfect” you need to keep practising, keep learning, and keep showing up.

Every successful PMU artist started exactly where you are now.

Don’t just look at the course price.
Look at the trainer.
Where do they sit in the PMU industry? What have they built? Are they still treating clients? Are they recognised for their work? Do they produce consistently great results? Most importantly…
Do you aspire to be where they are?
Because you’re not just investing in a qualification. You’re investing in someone’s knowledge, experience, standards, and the roadmap they’ve already created.

I wish someone had told me this when I first started in PMU… 🤍

Looking back, it wasn’t just about learning brows and lips.

It was about learning how to market myself, practising until my confidence grew, taking my time with clients, and understanding that qualifying is only the beginning.

The biggest lesson?

✨ Confidence comes from consistency, not perfection.

If you’re at the start of your PMU journey, don’t compare yourself to artists who have been doing this for years. Keep showing up, keep learning, and keep practising. One day you’ll be the experienced artist inspiring someone else.
