For this look, we worked with 20 tapes worth of 21 inch hair, but instead of the traditional sandwich method, I used single-sided tapes to create what looks like a full head (around 40 placements).
This approach helps maximise volume and achieve an even, full result without needing extra packs which is ideal if you want fullness without overspending! 🫶🏼
The Korean Lash Lift 🪄
I switched from the traditional lash lift system to Korean in Summer 2025 and thought I’d explain to you all the difference between the two -
Lash Lifts are essentially a perm for your lashes, it breaks down and resets your hair structures to give you more curled and defined lashes and in doing so makes them appear thicker and longer
Whereas Korean Lash Lifts do the same thing but healthier, using cysteamine instead of the harsher thioglycolic acid found in traditional lash lifts systems.
This allows the Korean system to give flawless results with softer products and way less chance of overprocessing the lashes. The Korean lash lift also uses less adhesive and involves less pulling of the lashes meaning less chance of damage to your lashes throughout the process.
Lash Lifts have always been perfect for low maintenance clients and those who want that “my lashes but better” look, but Korean Lash lifts are most ideal for those also on a lash healthcare journey, taking a break from lash extensions, or letting their lashes breathe after damage
