They'd tell stories about women who arrived stressed and left feeling lighter.

About clients who sneak out of work for their "doctor's appointment" 🤫

About mums enjoying one uninterrupted hour where nobody needs a snack, a drink or help wiping their bum.

Over the years, we've realised that while we provide waxing and beauty treatments, that's only part of what happens here.

This space has witnessed some of life's biggest moments. The exciting ones, the difficult ones and the everyday ones that somehow turn into a 45-minute conversation.

We've laughed with you, cried with you, celebrated with you and occasionally sat in complete disbelief with you.

The treatments may be why you book the appointment, but it's the women who walk through our doors every day that make Strip-Bare what it is.

And for that, we're incredibly grateful.

🌴 Annual Leave Notice 🌴

Just a little heads up that I'll be on annual leave from 16th–30th June.

The salon will remain open as normal during this time, however replies to messages and emails may take a little longer than usual. June is one of our busiest months of the year, and treatment appointments will always take priority during salon hours.

I've added a few extra appointments before I go and will be doing my best to accommodate as many of you as possible beforehand.

You can manage your bookings anytime through your customer account. Please remember our usual cancellation policy applies, and appointments cannot be amended online within the 48-hour notice period.

If you're hoping to get booked in, please make sure you're on the waitlist as it's the quickest way to be notified of any cancellations.

​We’ve seen an increase in late cancellations recently, so we wanted to share a quick reminder of our policy.

▪️ ​Any appointment cancelled within 48 hours will be charged at 50% of the service cost.
▪️ ​Within 24 hours, it will be charged at 100%.
▪️ ​This also applies if you turn up but decide you don’t need all the services booked, these need to be cancelled ahead of time.

We have clients waiting for appointments, but they need time to plan ahead. Last-minute changes don’t work for anyone.
When you reserve a time slot, it’s removed from our availability.
We plan for it, prepare for it, and turn other clients away for it.

​We totally get that life happens, and we’re really not trying to be the "bad guys" But without enough notice, it’s not a cost we can absorb while protecting our time, our team, and the business.

​If you ever need to reschedule, you can do this in your client portal before the cancellation window locks in at no cost or message us directly as soon as you can. It gives us the best chance to fill that gap for someone else.

​We show up for you on time and prepared, every single day.
We just ask for that same respect for our time so we can keep doing what we love for you all.

Let’s talk about waxing on your period 🩸 🩸 🩸

Yes, you can still get waxed!

Totally normal, we do it on the daily.

It’s also one of the most common questions we get asked.

Everyone’s different.
Some people feel a bit more sensitive, some don’t notice anything, and some actually prefer coming in at that time.

Just wear a tampon or menstrual cup and you’re good to go. Everything else stays the same.

Life doesn’t stop because your periods turned up, and neither does your appointment 🫶
