‘Being told I might not make my 30th birthday was the wake-up call I needed.’

After learning that his weight was putting his life at risk, all John could think of was his family – and the moments he’d miss unless he made a significant change 💔… so that’s what he did.

With the support he found at his local Slimming World group, John lost a staggering 16st 12lbs (107kg) and turned his life around. Instead of being at risk of dying young, he’s now feeling healthy, confident and excited for the future – and has maintained his weight for more than two years 👏.

Wow what a night!!’ I thought I’d share some “professional” photos with you all 😜 I’m absolutely always me being supportive of my district managers knee, making use of the party hats because I didn’t want to ruin my hair, my colleague wanted a ‘nice’ photo oh and that’s Claire our national woman of the year who’s lost 18 and a half stone. I was the only person to ask her for a photo of us both pulling faces 😂 I was told by multiple people that they absolutely love wacky Wednesdays and I’m performing at my colleagues wedding 💒 I really do have the best job in the world. Who wouldn’t want to be part of our team?
