Profhilo Structura is a core treatment in my Double Jowl Lift approach.

Unlike traditional volumising fillers, Structura is designed to support and remodel facial adipose tissue, helping address the loss of structural support in the midface that contributes to facial ageing and jowling.

The aim is to improve the underlying support of the face, rather than simply adding volume.

We believe supporting the facial fat compartments is an important part of maintaining a youthful facial appearance and improving the appearance of skin laxity.

It’s become one of the most popular treatments in our clinic and a key part of our approach to facial ageing.

The Double Jowl Lift | Part 3: Sinker or Sagger?

When assessing the face for Profhilo Structura, I look at two different patterns of ageing.

SINKERS – tend to lose volume beneath the cheekbone, creating a hollow or dip under the cheek. The jowl is often more noticeable closer to the corner of the mouth.

SAGGERS – tend to experience more tissue descent and skin laxity. The face appears to drop, with jowling more prominent along the lower jawline and towards the chin.

Many faces show elements of both.

Identifying these patterns helps me tailor how and where I inject Profhilo Structura to each individual’s facial anatomy.

The Double Jowl Lift | Part 2: The Products Behind the Lift/ Tightening

My Double Jowl Lift combines treatments that target the different aspects of facial ageing and jowl formation discussed in part 1.

Profhilo Structura – supports facial adipose tissue, helping address age-related changes in facial fat compartments.

Hyperdilute Radiesse – stimulates collagen production to improve skin quality, firmness and elasticity.

A small amount of toxin may also be used in the platysmal bands to reduce downward muscular pull.

The aim is to address both structural support and skin quality rather than focusing on skin tightening alone.
