FIONA ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​I fell in love with Fiona’s modern take on a Mother of the bride look. We took colour inspiration for her makeup from her beautiful needle and thread dress, pairing soft peaches and warm reflects of gold with fresh and glowing skin. Teamed up with a big bouncy blowdry, there was nothing not to love… so she needed all the glory in her own grid post!

HOLLYWOOD WAVES

When your stylist tells you it’s a process, they aren’t lying to you!!

Hollywood waves require quite a bit more time then your average style as in my opinion they require more prep, usually the use of extensions (to act like scaffolding), pristine curling, cooling down time & brushing out styling time.

They are a very high maintenance style in that you can’t mess with them.. you can’t be running your hands/finger through your hair all day, you basically need to leave the style alone & not be thrashing around.. atleast not until your photographer has gone and they’ll be no evidence of disturbed waves 😂

If you are someone who moves around a lot you will likely need to take a comb/brush and product to set them back into their beautiful wave. Alternatively I would offer a touch up service prior to your meal to perfect those Hollywood waves again.

Here is my beautiful bride Helen, who has the most incredible head of red hair and who actually decided against the extensions, she was happy with the length, volume and how they held after the trial.
We adorned her look with some simple pearly slides and complimented her glam hair with glam makeup, including a bold lip 😍

I loved how she kept her dress simple and elegant and really played up her features to make a statement.

A beautiful candlelit Christmas wedding and Helena’s lace dress had a beautiful soft sparkle all over so twinkled in the lights 😍

Makeup was kept soft and subtle, with a champagne gold and wispy lashes for natural definition.

PS I still can’t get over the bridal suite at .. the bathroom of dreams with the beautiful big windows for all the natural light!
