Recently I returned to the to work one:one with their lead educator and multiple models, looking at the well known ‘8 point face lift’ and improved techniques.

The 8 point face lift was pioneered by leading plastic surgeon Dr. Mauricio de Maio approx 15 year ago.
He identified eight specific facial points that when injected correctly, counteracted age-related volume loss, targeting the mid and lower face to lift sagging skin, restore a youthful structure, and enhance facial contours.

💉Lateral Zygoma (Outer Cheekbone): Injected at the highest point to provide immediate structural lift and define the cheekbones.

💉Maxilla-Zygomatic Junction: Enhances the mid-cheek and acts as a foundation for cheekbone projection.

💉Malar Fat Pad (Mid-Face): Placed in the mid-cheek to restore soft tissue lost to aging and to softly support the under-eye area.

💉Canine Fossa (Nasolabial Folds): Softens the deep creases running from the nose to the corners of the mouth.

💉Oral Commissure Support: Targets the corners of the mouth (marionette lines) to prevent a downturned, tired appearance.

💉Pre-Jowl Sulcus: Fills in the hollow area just in front of the jowl to smooth out the jawline.

💉Mandibular Angle (Jawline): Injected at the jaw’s rear corner to sharpen and redefine the lower face.

💉Sub-zygomatic Hollow (Buccal Hollow): Volumizes the sunken lower cheek area to lift and smooth the contours leading to the jawline.

These points can be broken down to target specific concerns or delivered as a whole treatment. Skills further developed support my ability to assess the neck and facial features as a whole, allowing me to identify the cause of the problem and confidently treat for optimum results. Something I have been learning for a while, but am now executing with even more precision.

A lot of you thought eyes (I have had a polynucleotide treatment under my eyes but that was a while before), lots said it looked good (thank you 😘) but you couldn’t work it out.
And that’s exactly what I wanted and what I promote. An almost undetectable treatment!

Why I had it: I was feeling that my cheeks were starting to get heavy and fat pads were separating. I wasn’t disliking my face, but I could see it starting to happen. So thought I’d try this for myself. And I’m delighted!

How is it achieved: By strategically placing a small amount of filler in the cheeks, you can see the weight has been lifted from the nose to mouth area and the jowl (you can see a reduction in the shadowing in the after picture).
