Today i closed those big pink doors for the last time 😪😭
I am absolutely overwhelmed with all of your kind words & well wishes 💖 you dont realise the impact youve had on other peoples lives just from being their hairdresser, i have formed life long bonds with a lot of you, and i am so greatful💙
And forever greatful to you all for always keeping me rushed off my feet, busy & successful, if it wasnt for my current health i would be in that shop untill i dropped😪💔
It really isnt a goodbye forever, yous will miss my magic hands too much 😅 its just a goodbye for now, to rest & heal💙

As you can all imagine i am very overwhelmed at the minute with everything going on with health, the salon & just life in general, ive never taken a break in the whole 13/14 years ive been able to work, so being forced to be off is quite tough.
I will respond to everyones messages in due time.
I just need some for the fog to lift from my head first ❤️

It is with a heavy heart, and a teary eye that i write this post.
Unfortunately, due to recent events & continued ill health, i have made the decision to close the doors on Dylan's Hair Den 😪
To be able to say that i have run a successful & busy salon for the last 3 years fills me with so much joy & pride, and it is thanks to every single person who has ever walked through those doors, and for that i will always be eternally grateful.
With my health being so bad & declining over the last 2 years i have had to slow down and take more & more days off to rest. And with my most recent health scare being a large blood clot & several infections, i have had to re-assess every aspect of my life to ensure i still have any quality of life!
The decision to close the salon really does not come lightly, i have loved every minute of it, and if it wasnt for ill health, i would still be here working my magic for years to come! But unfortunately, if i dont act now, i may not be able to work at all in years to come😪

The salons last day open will be Saturday 1st August, all clients booked in after this will be contacted in due time. And given some options for future appointments.

I am currently unsure what the future holds for me & my career, but after taking some time to rest & heal, you bet i will be right back at it the first chance i get!

From the bottom of my aching heart, thank you all for everything💖

Evening all💖 just a wee update!
So on top of having the 12cm blood clot in my leg, i have also just been told that i have 2 seperate infections aswell🤦‍♂️😭
Feeling a bit loopy/spaced out, sore & all over the place not working aswell🤦‍♂️
Im off for atleast this full week, all clients have been messaged & i want to thank you for being so understanding💖
Being self employed i dont take time off lightly! But im currently struggling in every aspect of daily life, so its a defenite needs must😭
I will keep everyone updated on the situation! And will get back to everyones messages & re-schedule cancelled appointments as soon as my head feels a bit clearer💖

Evening all.. me again, the hairdresser thay constantly has something wrong with his body 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
As you know ive been diagnosed with quite a large blood clot in my leg, and currently on some blood thinners.
Unfortunately due to this, im only managing on my feet for a few minutes at a time before having to rest again. So im having to go back to a 1-on-1 client basis for the time being.
Unfortunately that means im going to have to cancel/re-schedule some appointment in the next few days/weeks🙈
I honestly cant appologise to the clients that im having to change, unfortunately its out with my control for the time being 😭

Evening all 💙 just a wee update for anyone passing today wondering why i wasnt at work.
I attended out of hours this morning for a lunp in my leg, across my knee which was making it very difficult to work.
I was then admitted to the MAU in the vale hospital as we discovered it was a blood clot in my leg🙈🙈
Home now, resting with a 6 week course of blood thinners & follow-up scans to be scheduled🤦‍♂️
Thank you to everyone for being so understanding with having to cancel/reschedule appointments the last 2 days, you all know im never on my bloody bum! So this is a wee wake up call to take it easy & be kinder to myself💙
