Happy 2 Years to Grace 🤍🌟

Nothing has come easy for Grace and she’s worked her absolute butt off to become a fully booked Nail, Lash and Brow Technician and it the beating heart of our Salon.

I owe Grace so much, she kept the salon (and me) afloat while I was pregnant and post partum, meaning I had one less thing to worry about. She deserves all the credit in the world, and I’ll always cheer for her from the roof tops 🤍

Congratulations Grace, this is ALL you and what a life you’ve created from your hard work 🤍

2 years in business today 🤍

I genuinely don’t know how to put into words what these past 2 years have meant to me. This business has become such a huge part of my life and such a big part of who I am. I’ve put so much of myself into it, from the countless hours, the constant learning, the mistakes, the stress, the excitement and all the little moments in between. Looking at what I’ve built from something that once started as just an idea makes me so unbelievably proud. I love this business like it’s my baby, I cherish it, I have poured my soul into it and I definitely never want to work a normal job EVER again!!! But to say I have built this little business on my own, I’d say it’s kind of a success?

My first ever set of nails was at 16, and now I’m 19 and officially 2 years into running my own business. Looking back at how nervous and inexperienced I was, it’s crazy to see how much I’ve changed. I’ve had difficult days, doubted myself and considered giving up, but somehow every time I’ve been knocked back, I’ve found another reason to keep going.

This business has taught me so much about myself. I’ve learnt that I can push myself, learn new skills, overcome things that once scared me and actually build something I’m proud of. I’ve achieved things I never thought I would at this age, and I genuinely couldn’t imagine doing anything else, it has allowed me to have the freedom I’ve always wanted from a job.

I’m my own biggest critic and I rarely stop to appreciate how far I’ve come, but today I’m going to give myself a little bit of credit. I built Essential Nails and Beauty from the ground up, and I’m so proud of all of it!

And of course, none of this would be what it is without all of my gorgeous clients. Thank you for every conversation, every little bit of trust, coming back to me and allowing me to be a small part of your lives. You’ve helped me build something that means more to me than I could ever properly explain.

2 years down, and I’m so excited to see where this goes next.
