We enjoyed a lovely change of scenery with a little outing into town!

There was a stop to place a few horse racing bets 🐎, followed by some Halloween shopping to pick out a few spooky decorations ready for the season ahead! 👻🎃

A lovely opportunity to enjoy some fresh air and a spot of shopping. 🧡

🎹🎶 An Afternoon of Beautiful Music! 🎶

We were delighted to welcome the wonderful Keelan’s Piano to The Meadows for a fabulous musical performance! 🩷

Our residents enjoyed an afternoon of beautiful piano music and singing, with some lovely familiar tunes to enjoy along the way.

A wonderful afternoon of live entertainment, thoroughly enjoyed by all. A huge thank you to Keelan for sharing his musical talents with us! 🎹✨

We embraced the autumn season with a lovely morning of pumpkin pompom making, getting creative and making some adorable little autumn decorations! 🧡

📚 Book Club at The Meadows 📚

There was plenty to reminisce about at this week’s Book Clubs!

Over at Rose, we read Jams, Pickles and Parsnip W**e, sparking conversations about homemade recipes, preserving and some of the traditional flavours remembered from years gone by. 🍓🫙

Meanwhile, at Lavender, we enjoyed Family Motoring, taking us back to memories of first cars, family journeys and how very different getting from A to B used to be! 🚗

Two lovely sessions filled with stories, shared memories and plenty of conversation. 🩷

🍸 James Bond Day at The Meadows 🤵🏻‍♂️

Yesterday we celebrated James Bond Day with some activities inspired by 007. Our residents tried their hand at some target practice, putting their aim to the test before enjoying cocktails together. 🍸 Shaken, not stirred, of course!

James Bond Day is celebrated each year on 5th October, marking the anniversary of the release of the very first Bond film, Dr. No, in 1962. More than 60 years later, 007 remains one of Britain’s most iconic characters, giving us the perfect excuse for a little Bond themed fun at The Meadows! 🍸🖤

🦒World Animal Day 🐆

We celebrated World Animal Day with a relaxed afternoon of all things animal themed! 🐘🦁🦓

Our residents enjoyed some animal colouring, alongside word searches and plenty of conversation about our favourite animals along the way. 🩷💜

A simple but lovely way to spend the afternoon together and celebrate all creatures great and small! 🐄✨

🍂 Autumn Fashion 🍁

We spent the morning getting creative and designing some autumn inspired outfits. Using colourful pens alongside leaves gathered from outdoors, we created some really unique pieces. 🧡

It was lovely to see everyone’s different ideas come together and enjoy a relaxed morning of creativity. 🍂✨
