My beautiful client admitted she neglected her hair and had not been to me in literally a year.
We kept it low maintenance, blonder face framing but no harsh money piece, freshened up and brighened those ends.
Backcombed foils all the way through - some slices, chunky weaves - tease the foils to ensure a heavy natural root but ensures no lines and just melts into the previous old blonde. NO TONER was used - it lifted like a dream 🤤

I know people love reels more and I will get more uploads of me working but I’ve been rubbish with my social media for the last 2 weeks so here’s some beaut blonde I did a couple of weeks ago 🤪 sometimes we fall back but that’s ok so long as we make sure we come back better!

Slowly evening out the mid length banding we have, this was my second session working on this hair so I’m gently cleansing the banding each time she’s in the seat without any added damage.

Here’s a transformation I did last week.
Last time my client was in the seat her hair was much shorter than the before pic & very damaged 🥴
She had been home colouring it herself, I took care of it for one sitting but wasn’t a great deal I could do with it due to the damage.. then she had a baby so it’s finally grown much healthier so we could make a start on giving her a whole new look.

She asked for blonde, blended, roots melted, with very little cutting off the length.
So I went in with: Full head of babylights, tipped out the very ends where the block of old existing blonde is with 6.0, 10%
root melted with 6.0, 6.1, 1.9%

Only around her face framing to take her money piece higher. Covered the root regrowth with 6.1 in

This has to be hands down my favourite yet. These pictures are a year apart.
Please understand this just proves the lightening process does not happen in 1/2 sittings.
Especially with years of black box dyed hair.
The first 2 sessions lifting did not budge 😰 I’ve never worked on hair like it, really put my hairdressing skills to the test. After the second session I literally only got slight patches of red undertones shining through.
Eventually after a lot of patience we got to the end result. The second photo looks full of shine and overall a healthier colour.
& when I tell you I was utterly obsessed with the colour, like literally!!

This is just a example of trust the process!!

New client, previous colour was not by myself.
Reverse balayage, adding depth to toned down the blonde, make the blonde pop without actually adding any blonde itself. Apart from around the hair line to brighten and higher the face framing slightly.
Foils - 5.1
Root tap - 6.1/7 - roots had a previous root shadow that had washed up to a 7 with also a inch of natural regrowth at a base 6. Also some previous highlights 2/3 inches down.
This turned out to be more a colour correction in some areas to enable this colour to blend and flow like a natural balayage.

In love with the end result, such a lush colour. Full of life and shine again.

Please note, even after 10+ years of hairdressing even now I still doubt myself and still shock myself at how beautiful some of my work turns out. I absolutely LOVE my job 🤍

F R E S H

Full head of foils for my girl. As you can see there’s a huge root regrowth and also some different banding of colour going through the hair.
This was my first time working on her, so I just mainly worked on the roots, but gradually over time I will gently lift up the mid lengths band to make my clients hair more even.
I used the comb, super fine foils to create a soft blend.
The picky self I am, theres a lot more I could of done with this hair but my main priority was to blend the roots and keep the condition!
Overall a lot blonder using blonde me, 20 vol.
Toned using .uk Icy, with a touch of moonstone, 1.5%

Blondes have my heart 🫶🏽
