Box Dye Removal – A Journey Worth Taking! ✨

Let's talk box dye! We all love the convenience, but when it's time for a colour change, it can be a little more stubborn than professional colour.

The key? Patience, trust in the process, and a realistic plan. And when everyone is on board, the results can be absolutely beautiful! 💫

My lovely client has years of box dye history and decided to take the plunge towards a softer, more natural grey-blending journey. Safe to say, I had my work cut out for me—but these are the transformations I absolutely love! 🥰

To begin the process, I carefully lifted the hair and added fine highlights throughout to break up the solid colour. A deeper shade was then applied through the mid-lengths and ends to neutralise some of that persistent red box dye that simply wasn't ready to leave quietly! 👋

Everything was then expertly toned to create a more balanced, seamless result, giving us a beautiful, even canvas and setting us firmly on the right path towards her end goal.

And can we just take a moment for that shine?! ✨ No, not the bleach before anyone asks! 🤣 Healthy-looking, glossy hair that feels as amazing as it looks.
