On Wednesday afternoon I had the pleasure of helping Devon teach no hands massage to the students at the Lakes College. It was really good to share tips from over the years of massaging and the professional journey’s we’ve been on to get to where we are today. Thank you for the invite Devon 😀

One thing I love is to give massages to help quieten the ‘buzzing mind.’

We all need that time to relax and allow head space. In the past, I have met people who have pooh-poohed massage and have seen it as a luxury for rich people. But it really does have a place in this world to help with mental well-being as well as treating physical ailments.

All the massage therapists out there know the importance of this, and our job is paramount in supporting clients through difficult times. So well done to all the massage therapists out there that help to keep people going 👏👏👏

So I’ve been quiet on here for a while now and that’s just because I’ve been busy.

I thought I’d share some photos I had taken for my website that will hopefully be up and running soon!

I have hundreds to choose from, so deciding which ones to use is going to be hard… I just want to mention that if you book in for a massage, I don’t normally have the blinds up! I just needed some extra light for the photos 😉

Taking a break from work and getting out into the very fresh air, it always makes you feel better within yourself.

I find massage work rewarding, but it equally it’s important to look after yourself when your doing work like this as it can be intense sometimes.

Therapists (in any profession) will understand the demands that are put upon us unintentionally by someone who is going through a hard time.

Signposting to the right service can really help someone, especially if you feel you can’t give them all of the support they need. In addition, if they are receiving another source of help it can only complement the work your doing, right?
