Blue. Glitter. Mamma Mia kinda vibes. That was the plan.

Somewhere along the lines we ended up with ocean themed glitter fade nails 😁

We used moaning myrtle and dancing queen 💃🏼🪩 finished with holo glitz top coat 💖

Natural looking extensions with a very subtle shimmer for this lovely lady 🥰

Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of doing these prom nails 😍💖

I love hate when clients give me full creative control because sometimes I don’t even know where to begin! 😂

To create this look we used full cover extensions, jingle your bells (blue) and party animal (gold). Finished off with holo glitz top coat for added sparkles.

A lovely before and after from this week for a nail biter! She has gone nearly two weeks with no biting so far and am very excited to see these grow - as long as she can keep them out of her mouth 😂💖

When choosing extensions it’s really important to think about the length of your natural nail underneath. I will always recommend starting with a shorter length so you can get to grips with how long is too long as they grow out 🥰

Important update, please read 🫶🏻

As some of you are already aware, I was suddenly taken ill on Friday and as a result I have had to cancel appointments without being able to offer an alternative date.

It would appear that my once stable Ménière’s disease has become less stable and as a result I spent a large part of Friday vomiting and I find myself still feeling unsteady today, 5 days later.

Due to this there will be times moving forward where this will happen again and until I can be seen by the relevant team and a plan agreed upon, it is likely to be the new norm for me. (Please no NHS bashing/shaming of any form!)

Ménière’s is completely debilitating when it hits and sadly Friday it was a severe enough episode to warrant a GP visit and calling 999 with the view of hospital admission - big yay 😩

So for those that are waiting to hear back about future appointments, please be patient. Day by day I’m getting a little better but there are still things that I’m struggling with like turning too quickly, walking after driving (essential really!) and leaning froward.

I promise to always communicate with you if I cannot make it and will always do my best to fit you back in but it may mean I have to change my working hours - and therefore usual availability - to accommodate the balance I need to stay well.

We both know it’s not true but we don’t need to discuss it - unless there is serious damage and I have to contemplate advising against a service..

IF you truly cannot resist picking the gel polish off and you have a while before your next appointment, do yourself a favour and use cuticle oil religiously.. this will not be an immediate fix but it will go a long way to helping your nails recover! 💖
