The sun was shining beautifully through the window, a sunbeam was shining directly onto Tanya’s hair creating a golden cast, giving the illusion of a very warm honey blonde. You can see in the video when I moved you I block the sunbeam & the tones of the hair change.
I’m still letting the natural light in but blocking the direct sun ray which allows the sun light to disperse around me, this casts a shadow on my client which reveals more closely the true tone of the hair.

This is why I always tell my client (blondies especially) to look at your hair in natural lighting. This lighting represents your hair best. Often indoor lighting is a much warmer tone creating a warmer look to your hair. Get outside, check your car mirror or stand by a window to see your hair colour in its best lighting. 💡

Not only can I not get over this blend but it took me forever to figure out what client this is, as I dug this out of my the archives. I ended up getting my old diary out to figure out who it was & had to check it twice because I wasn’t convince! It’s the one & only, my little miss blondie ?! I completely forgot about that little brunette moment we had back in Summer 2023!

GREY BLENDING 🤍🩶

After many years of covering up her grey my gorgeous client here grew out her colour and started to embraced the natural white. While she found she did in fact like the white she couldn’t help but feel like it was missing a little ‘oompf’. We were met with the dilemma that we needed to correct and blend the old grown out colour but she also wanted to elevate the grey hair ever so slightly. After a thorough chat we agreed that she still wanted to add colour but wanted to keep it very subtle. So working with her natural hair we choose to enhance the white she had framing her face but still kept some of the depth towards the back where there was less percentage of white hairs.

This creating this dreamy, soft cloud like result. ☁️
I’m seeing this much more presently where woman are choosing to embrace the grey, & I LOVE it! What’s your take? Are you a cover until I die or are you tempted to start welcoming & blending that grey?

Now it’s not what you’re thinking 💉 I haven’t started injecting but did you know roughly 80% of my extensions clients have them for volume rather than length. A large portion of those clients have minimal extensions just to fill in the gaps we often see around our face. This can create a much fuller look overall with as little as 10 extensions around your face frame. This can also add a pop of colour to brighten your blonde without the use of chemicals on those very delicate hairs around your hairline.

Such a simple way to enhance your hair & colour but still so naturally. You can barely see the extensions in these photos which I’ve dug out from the archives of the beautiful who i love & miss dearly!

lil up do for this lil spicy mama 🌶️

The ‘Pam’ up do has me in a chokehold & is my most requested style currently! A beautiful blend of a high ‘messy bun’ with an undone French twist. This can be worn high on the crown or a little lower like G has here.

Honestly this girl 😮‍💨 long/short, dark/light, up or down, she rocks it all. I can’t help but get hair envy each time she’s in the chair but this style honestly had me looking back at my reflection with such shame. I need to trade my signature dirty hair slicked back bun with this gorgeous up do asap! 🤭
