‼️BANNED CREAMS, LOTIONS AND OILS‼️

Please take time to read and understand that these are some of the tanning products that are banned! Any creams and oils bought from Tik Tok, Instagram, Amazon, EBay ect ect are not permitted to be used in our salon.

Unsure of what is safe to use, please ask a member of staff. We are always happy to help.

Products like Shine Brown and many other brands can damage Sunbed acrylics because it contains petroleum, which is a type of mineral oil. These mineral oils are not suitable for use with Sunbeds as they can seriously damage the acrylic:

Absorption and Expansion: Sunbed acrylics expand and contract with the heat during use. Mineral oils like petroleum can be absorbed by the acrylic when it expands, leading to cloudiness and visibility issues.

Irreversible Damage: Once absorbed, mineral oils cannot be removed from the acrylic. This prevents the acrylic from properly expanding and contracting, which can cause it to crack.

Safety and Cost: Damaged acrylics are not safe for users and can be costly for salon owners to replace.

It is important to use products that are specifically designed for tanning and compatible with sunbed equipment to avoid these issues. Tanning lotions formulated for sunbed use help in enhancing the tanning process without causing damage to the acrylic surfaces.

We clean/sanitise the beds after every use therefore we no when these creams/oils are being used.
If anyone is caught using these you will be asked to leave the salon and your minutes will be cancelled.
