Let’s normalise something important about anti-wrinkle treatment.

An anti-wrinkle appointment is planned as one treatment appointment not automatically two.

The treatment needs time to fully settle, and the final result is usually assessed around 14 days. A review may be offered if needed, but a review does not automatically mean more product should be added.

Of course, if there is a genuine clinical reason such as asymmetry, uneven movement or an area that has not responded, this can be assessed properly and discussed.

But routine, unnecessary top-ups should not be seen as a standard second session.

I often hear from clients that they feel nervous about anti-wrinkle treatment because they have seen too many over-treated, frozen-looking results. Many people do not want to lose all movement , they simply want to look fresher, softer and more rested while still looking like themselves.

Client’s main concern was the upper lip.

One side of the upper lip was sitting slightly higher, and part of the lip was turning inward more than the other side, creating visible asymmetry.

The client wanted a very soft correction and was clear that she did not want big or overfilled lips.

For me, it is very important to listen carefully to what the client actually wants. Not every lip treatment is about adding volume. Sometimes the goal is correction, balance and better visual harmony.

In this case, the lower lip already had good natural volume, so the focus was mainly on improving the upper lip shape, supporting the areas that were turning inward, and refreshing the lower lip only very lightly.

The client came in with concerns about the lower face shadowing around the mouth, marionette lines and a tired, slightly “sunken” appearance in the lower third.
I treated this area using PRP BioGel a natural gel made from the client’s own plasma.
