Why should we pay cash everywhere with banknotes instead of a card ?

- I have a £50 banknote in my pocket. Going to a restaurant and paying for dinner with it.

The restaurant owner then uses the bill to pay for the laundry.

The laundry owner then uses the bill to pay the barber.

The barber will then use the bill for shopping.

After an unlimited number of payments, it will still remain a £50 value, which has fulfilled its purpose to everyone who used it for payment and the bank has jumped dry from every cash payment transaction made.

BUT

IF I come to a restaurant and pay digitally via Card,

- the bank fees for my payment transaction charged to the seller are 3%, so around £1.50

( and so will be the fee of £1.50 for each further payment transaction )

-for the owner re laundry or
- payments of the owner of the laundry shop,
- or payments of the barber etc.....

Therefore, after 30 transactions, the initial £50 will exist at only £5, and the remaining £45 has become the property of the bank … thanks to all of the digital transactions and fees!

Use it or lose it folks…

Once it’s gone we won’t get it back!

Cash is king!

Hello, it's been a minute!

As yous know I'm not one for beating round the bush so here goes.

I've reopened this page to do some fundraising for Turkey and Syria. My heart is broke every time I turn on the news the number of dead has risen. The news at 12pm there said 28000 are now confirmed dead and they think that could double. People are killing each other for the last of the food and medicine. It's devastating to think in this day and age people are literally dying while waiting to be rescued.

I want to help as I'm sure many of you do too.

This page was a great platform when I needed it to be. With over 2000 people on here I'm hoping we can come together to help.

I was thinking of raising sponsorship for climbing a mountain or the kids suggested i do a sponsored silence but I'm not entirely confident in their motives lol

Realistically we need something fast and now. I have had great success running raffles in the past so I'm hoping with your help we could do this again?

Facebook algorithm will probably make this harder because this page has been inactive so I could do with a wee like / comment to get the traffic flowing through the page.

So, would you buy a raffle ticket or could you donate a prize?

Keen to know your thoughts and feedback please x
