š MICRONEEDLING MODEL NEEDED š
As you may know, Iām currently studying my Level 4 CIBTAC Microneedling qualification.
Although I am already qualified and experienced in microneedling, Iām undertaking this additional qualification to further develop my knowledge and skills and gain a higher level of certification.
Iām currently working through my case studies and am looking for a model with a Fitzpatrick skin type IVāVI.
This generally describes skin that tans easily and rarely burns in the sun, with naturally higher levels of melanin.
Iām looking for someone who would be happy to have two microneedling treatments, four weeks apart. Treatments could be performed on the face, hands, stomach or legs, depending on suitability.
A full consultation and assessment would be carried out beforehand, including a review of medical history, skincare and lifestyle, to ensure the treatment is appropriate and safe.
āļø Please note: You would need to have had no recent sun holiday for at least 2 weeks before treatment, and be able to avoid a sun holiday for 2 weeks following treatment.
If you, or someone you know, may fit the criteria and would be interested in being a model, please ask them to get in touch with me directly for more information.
Thank you for helping me find the right model for my case studies š¤
Itās back! š
What is Microneedling?
Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment.
It creates controlled micro-injuries, which in turn trigger the bodyās natural healing response.
What are the benefits?
There are so many! In a nutshell it can help to address various skin concerns including:
ā¢Fine lines and wrinkles
ā¢Acne scars and other types of scarring
ā¢Enlarged pores and textural concerns
ā¢Hyperpigmentation
ā¢Dull, tired skin
It promotes cellular regeneration (think bio-hacking), increases collagen and elastin production and helps support skin resilience.
In fact, there are so many benefits, I might have to do another post about it. š
6 reasons to book that facialā¦
1. Dull, tired looking skin
2. Breakouts or acne
3. Dehydration or sensitivity
4. Pigmentation or sun damage
5. The kids have gone back to school
6. Your skin and nervous system will thank you.
(7. You donāt need a reason, but in case you needed to find one. š)

And so it beginsā¦
LEVEL 4 CIBTAC Microneedling
12 weeks of e-learning, in person training, 10 case studies, assignments, finishing off with practical and theory exams.
Why am I studying Level 4 CIBTAC Microneedling when Iām already qualified to perform the treatment?
Itās a question Iāve been asked, and itās actually something I feel really strongly about.
Iām already qualified and experienced in microneedling, and I have always followed strict safety, hygiene and treatment protocols within my business.
So why go back to studying?
Because professional development doesnāt stop when you qualify.
The regulations and requirements surrounding advanced treatments are evolving and there is the potential for further changes to the way procedures such as microneedling are regulated in the future. And thatās a good thing.
Rather than waiting for those changes to happen, I want to be ahead of them.
I want to further develop my knowledge, strengthen my existing skills and ensure that my education continues to meet the highest professional standards.
Am I nervous about how much work is involved on top of every day life? Absolutely.
But Iām going to give it my best. And ultimately itās about bringing the highest level of treatment and care to my clients.
