Today Georgia travelled from Leicester to Jessica’s the Academy here in Ashby-de-la-Zouch to further bolster her existing range at her own aesthetics clinic.

Already performing treatments such as microneedling, our advanced chemical peel and dermaplane course made for the perfect follow on certification.

She has an existing client base gained at her own clinic after leaving her job as a Nurse only a few months ago. After today she is now able to offer even more.

The demand for aesthetics is growing, trust me when I say there is enough work for everyone. I have personally trained so many practitioners in my local area, all who have gone on to run busy, successful businesses.

There is more power and benefit in being part of a community of like minded aesthetics practitioners, rather than being in competition. Share pain points, ideas, systems and soon seen whose businesses thrive!

2. Imposter Syndrome

Something we ALL (even the most confident people) suffer from at time to time but with the right training, mentorship and support you find a way to overcome those niggling doubts in your mind.

One of the best remedies for beating imposter syndrome is growing confidence and the only way to do that is to step outside your comfort zone. Which brings me to my next point.

3. Comfort Zones

Comfort zones keep us in one place, stagnant, not learning from our wins or our mistakes.

Saying ‘YES’ to every opportunity that comes your way can open up so many doors for your future in the aesthetics industry.

Remember we’re all human, you’re not the only who’s ever been scared, most of us are likely to have felt scared at some stage in our journey into this industry. Be open, talk it through and let’s work on it together.

4. One Solution Suits All

At Jessica’s we have students from all over the UK. Different backgrounds, different ages, different learning styles and different reasons for starting a career in aesthetics.

We understand that each person’s needs are never the same which is why we have a close, personal approach to getting to know you and communicating with you pre, during and post training so you have everything you need for your unique journey into aesthetics.

5. Being Ghosted After Training

This is a biggie for me. As someone who has a personal approach with all my students I by nature love to hear about your journey at all stages and i’m here for you every step of the way.

After training you have the option be put into our student community group too. The support remains even when the academy doors close.

Halle welcomes all of the students and clients here at the academy.

She joined us just over a month ago and has already made such an impact. She brings with her over 7 years previous experience in customer facing roles within retail.

A real people person, she is a pro at taking care of our guests, ensuring they feel comfortable at all times.

She also has a keen interest in developing her own career in the industry and is undergoing training in beauty and skincare - so she understands the journey our students are on.
