Following on from my last post, something I’ve been putting off doing for a while now is increasing my prices, so from the 1st September, some of my prices will be going up✨

It has been almost a year since I first opened the clinic and I have learnt a lot since then. Some facials have gone up in price more than others and this is simply due to the fact that the cost of each facial varies and I have a better idea of this now than what I did when I opened a year ago.

Although I really want True Skin to be accessible for as many people as possible, prices need to reflect the quality of the service as well as the products I am using. I want to help as many of you as possible achieve your skin goals, hence why I haven’t increased my prices since opening, however the problem I am facing is that I also want True Skin to be able to grow as much as possible. I need to ensure I can reinvest into the business, as well as pay all the costs and still make a profit.

I love my little business so much, I want nothing more than for it to keep growing until I can make it my full time job and be treating you all day in and day out and this is the first step I need to take in order for that to happen.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to put a post on to remind everyone what I do here at True Skin🌿

I’m well aware that I haven’t been as active across my socials etc recently, I have had a few holidays and events happening in my personal life that have resulted in me letting my little business fall behind a little, but that is going to change from now on✨

At True Skin, I really focus on long term results and not just temporary fixes for your skin. I have a basic and luxury option for all my treatments - I offer these so there is a more affordable option for clients whilst still getting the treatment and all its benefits🩷The basic option includes the treatment, LED light therapy and my finishing serums. The luxury option elevates your experience just that little bit more, including a shoulder and neck massage along with hot mitts, ice globes and scalp combs🧖‍♀️

Over the next few months I am going to really be focusing on my business, building my knowledge and introducing a few new bits and bobs into clinic so keep your eyes peeled👀

Stop following skincare trends!!

One of the biggest mistakes I see people making with their skincare is following trends on social media. Just because one product works for someone else absolutely does not mean that it will work for you. Everyone’s skin is different, has different needs and reacts differently to different products. For example, someone with incredibly dry skin does not need the same products in their routine as someone struggling with acne and breakouts🌼

I appreciate it is super hard to keep up with skincare these days, there are so many products in the skincare industry and it is extremely difficult to guess what is best for you without any knowledge or guidance. I am continuously learning myself, as are all skin specialists, about products, their ingredients and which products best suit different skin types etc🧖‍♀️

Having the correct products to use at home, paired with monthly facials tailored to your needs, will really allow your skin to flourish. Your skin going red after Microneedling is not something to be worried about, it is actually something you should be looking for and here’s why…

Microneedling stimulates your body’s natural healing system, which essentially keeps the skin renewing each month. It is done by the process of pushing slim, fine needles below the surface of the skin to create micro wounds. Your body then initially pushes blood, oxygen and nutrients to the surface of the skin to prepare for healing. This is the first part of the healing process, meaning the treatment is working and your body is doing its job!✨

Redness should only last a couple of days at most and the healing process will continue without the initial redness. The healing process takes about 31 days, so results will tend to show 1-2 months after treatment. Consistent treatments keeps the skin on top of renewing itself regularly, giving long term results🫧

I took photos of the skin immediately after the treatment, specifically in the main areas that were red, broken out and inflamed. Three days later I got sent videos of the same areas. Just look at the reduction in redness and inflammation😍😍

I am all moved in !!🥳

I have finally completed my move into my new room! There are still some things I need to add on the walls and sort a little seating area etc, however, there is nothing stopping me from working from there as of this week, so this is what I will be doing🎊

I really need to up my game on creating content for my social media🙈So I am going to have appointments available at 25% off for my first 2 weeks at Min’s HOWEVER you must be comfortable with getting videos/photos taken and then posted on my social media - these appointments will need to be booked in via DM. If you are not comfortable with this, you can still come in as normal, but at normal price rate🥰
