🎶 MAGGIE MAY… AND A LITTLE BIT OF MY STORY ❤️

Some songs aren’t just songs. They hold whole chapters of your life.

In my 20s, I was absolutely Rod Stewart mad. I saw him over 100 times and somehow even ended up being invited to watch him play football in his own garden in Epping. 😂⚽️

I collected everything I could. Programmes, records, memorabilia… and one of my most treasured possessions was a football Rod actually came off stage and handed to me himself.

Then life changed.

A previous partner took every single piece of my Rod Stewart collection including that football. After that, I stopped listening to him. For years.

I never really told anyone that story.

Then one day my son heard me singing along to Maggie May and said, “How do you know all the words?” 😂

So I finally told him.

That Christmas, he bought me a little record player and a Rod Stewart box set. ❤️

And something changed.

Listening to those songs again didn’t feel sad anymore. They belonged to me again but this time with a completely different meaning.

And then this morning… another little full-circle moment.

Tickets went on sale for Rod’s tour next year and my daughter held her nerve on the phone, waited and waited…

AND SHE GOT THEM!! 🙌🎟️❤️

So here I am, all these years later, singing Maggie May again.

I’m pretty sure I won’t be climbing over people and fighting my way to the front barrier like I did in my 20s… 😂

But I’ll certainly have a good bloody dance. 💃😂❤️

Funny, isn’t it?

Someone once took away all the memorabilia.

But they could never take away the memories. ❤️🎶

Eyebrow tattoo removal isn’t always a straight line — colours can change and reveal themselves along the way — but patience, the correct wavelength and giving the skin plenty of healing time between treatments can make such a difference.
