**Colourstart Patch Tests**

Here is some additional information regarding how to use the patch test and how to carry it out correctly.

** Client Update **

Since the emergence of Covid-19 there has been an increase in allergies amongst people who have had the virus. With this new evidence emerging the National Hair Federation has urged salons to perform SKIN TESTS on all clients who have a colour treatment due to a heightened reaction to the chemicals in hair colour.

There are three simple ways we will be offering a skin test.

▪️Your Stylist will ask you to come in the salon at least 48hrs before your appointment. You will have to stay in the salon for 45 minutes whilst the test is carried out.

▪️A patch test can be purchased from the salon for £8 which can be carried out at home if its inconvenient for you to stay in the salon for 45 minutes.

▪️If you are having another treatment at the salon we can perform the skin test whilst you are already at the salon.
