Colour Correction.

My lady had lifted her own hair but needed help with toning and setting a canvas to develop on.

The hair was previously coloured, which is why the mid-length and ends are patchy and orange.

The hair was very damaged and so I was unable to lighten any further. With a bit of discussion we decided on a plan. Get a canvas to be able to build from and once the hair has recovered a little , we would be able to gently highlight over time to become lighter.

I went for foils using ashes and pearls with a 1:1 ratio (demi) and then applied all over colour in between, putting back base into the lighter parts and using blue ash to counteract the orange.

This was a level 8 and the hair is very porous and so over time this will lift, but we have began the journey to healthier, lightened hair ❤️
