Today Myrachle The Spa Rituals celebrates 8 years! ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

As I look back, I feel incredibly grateful to every client, friend and member of our team who has supported us along the way. Thank you for being part of our journey. 💜🙏

This year is even more special as I turn 50 in November, and on 11 October I’ll be taking on a half marathon — 13.1 miles — as part of making this milestone year truly meaningful. 🏃‍♀️

So instead of simply celebrating, I want to give something back.

🌿 5 GIFTS OF CARE 🌿

To represent my five decades of life, we’re gifting FIVE complimentary 1-hour massages to five people in our community who could really use an hour of care.

One person will receive a massage each week, from the first week of November until the first week of December.

Do you know someone who is going through a difficult time, experiencing financial hardship, loss or a major life change? Perhaps they’re always caring for everyone else, or simply wouldn’t normally be able to afford or prioritise a massage.

A few months ago, I wasn’t sure I could run for more than a few minutes.

This wasn’t about pace.
It wasn’t about being the fastest.

It was about proving to myself that I can do hard things.

Running has quietly become my space to breathe, think, and reconnect with myself. Between running a business, family responsibilities, and everything life brings, every run reminds me that progress doesn’t come from perfection—it comes from showing up.

If you’re waiting until you feel “ready” to start something…

Start anyway.

One small step becomes another, and one day you’ll look back and realise how far you’ve come.

💜 Next stop: my first half marathon on 11th October.

Before the guests arrived… before the candles were lit… before the cake was cut… there was a quiet moment.

A moment where I looked around the room, at the photos from babyhood to adulthood, and realized that the little boy I once carried is now 21.

This year wasn’t about extravagant celebrations.

It was about being present.

About making memories.

About hearing family sing Happy Birthday across oceans.

About gratitude.

As a single parent, I often wonder if I’ve done enough.

Today reminded me that love, time, effort, and showing up matter more than perfection ever will.

Most days are spent running our spa business and looking after clients, so mornings like this are extra special. Started the day with parkrun, then slowed things down with family breakfast, colouring books, and quality time together. A perfect reminder of what it’s all about. ❤️🏃‍♂️🍔👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Great to have my son, daughter, and granddaughter with me today. Me and my son are also putting in the training miles for the Oxford Half Marathon — every run gets us one step closer!
