August is Hair Loss Awareness month.

There are many reasons for Hair loss and thinning, Stress, Hormones, Menopause, Illness, Chemo, Vitamin Deficiency and more

If this is you, you may feel alone but you really are not. 50% of the population are experiencing it too, in one form or another. This can cause you worry and concern, which can add to any stresses. Please dont be alone, come and talk to me.

There are many products on the market claiming to help with Hair Loss. The active ingredients may be present but may be very diluted, with just enough to allow correct advertising. Buyer beware.

Another thing to consider is that you may be experiencing hair loss or thinning but your hair may be very different to someone else who is also experiencing hair loss or thinning. They may have Fine limp hair and you may have Coarse, colour treated hair and will need different ingredients from your hair care products. One size does not fit all.

Nioxin is our Hair Loss/Thinning product of choice. It is recommended by the Institute of Trichologists and the products are designed to suit different hair types and textures, allowing us to select the perfect product for the individual you are.

During a consultation we can take a close look at your scalp with a microscope and assess the condition of your hair.

We charge £20.00 for this service, this amount can be used towards a service if the appointment is made on the day of the consultation.

If you take a closer look at all of these pictures, you will see that the same colour runs from root to tip. Even though these clients have their colour done, on average every 3 months.

The advantage of highlighting this way is that you avoid overlap of colour or more colour through the ends of your hair than the root area. Also helping to keep your hair in good condition.

This colour process does a little longer and will cost a little more. Hopefully the results will be worth it for you.
