Had a busy day yesterday, visited some more beaches and ended up camping at a lovely one next to Hermits Castle, did laxford bay and bridge, hiked a small distance to a waterfall just south of Kylesku bridge. Managed to get in at the top for a dip but pics are not for public viewing 😂 stopped off at a popular nc500 pie shack. It stays light all evening so the days are very long 😀

It’s starting to get more beautiful, weather has been warm enough to wear t-shirts and shorts. No midges yet 😁went to Wolfburn distillery in Thurso, through Durness to Sheigra bay for camping. Nothing around apart from sheep and the sea.

A great start to the NC500.
Devils Pulpit and Loup of Infinity was just a taster before Inverness, the NC500 start. Had such a brilliant night in Glasgow with the locals 🍻
