As you will all probably know, there is now no legal requirement to wear a mask in Scotland due to Covid, however hairdressing is still a close contact business between myself and my clients and our guidelines recommend masks should still be worn. I am still prepared to wear a mask with all my clients however if you do have ANY covid like symptoms I would ask you to rearrange your appointment.

I’d like to thank all my clients for your co-operation and loyalty to myself over the past two years. I am very appreciative of you all sticking with me over these hard times.

Hello! Here we go again! As you’ll be aware from 5th April hairdressers in Scotland are allowed to open again, however at this early stage I don’t plan on booking anyone in until I get all the guidelines through from the government. Please be patient with me and as soon as I get this information I’ll be on the phone to get you all booked in. The same as the last twice I'll work my way through the appointments that were cancelled then move on to the list of people that has contacted me. Hi, I’m sure you’ve probably been expecting a message from me. Due to the latest lockdown measures put into place earlier tonight I’m going to have to shut the shop again on Christmas Eve and it will remain closed into January. Unfortunately I have absolutely no spaces left this week as I’m still catching up from my last closure. If there are cancellations this week I will try and give you a call and squeeze you in. I can only apologise to those who have appointments but my hands are absolutely tied. I really hope you’ll understand and that I’ll see you when I can re-open. Hi. Hope you’re all well. Just a wee message to say a couple of things.

Firstly, I am not going to book anyone in just now until we have the government guidelines in case I am only allowed 1 client in at a time. To be fair to everyone I'll get in touch with the clients in the order that their appointments were cancelled.

Throughout this whole lockdown I haven’t done any hair, which has been very difficult. I really appreciate the respect my clients have shown me in that they haven’t asked me to break rules and put me in the situation where I’ve had to say no and potentially offend people. I hope that this respect stays this way and no offence is taken if I have to say that I’m fully booked on a certain day.

I take huge pride in keeping my clients happy and that won’t change. I am very aware that everyone is desperate to have their hair done and I’ll just keep working tirelessly until I catch up with everyone.

Hopefully I'll have definitive guidelines about opening and safety measures soon. If you would prefer to be in the salon on your own please don't be afraid to ask.
