2015 you walked into my Salon asking for a job. I remember I was gutted because I couldn’t offer you the hours but knew you had that little spark in you to make an amazing Beauty Therapist.

Fast forward a year a bit of business growth and little did I know our paths would cross again 🥹

It was official you became part of my growing team in 2016 🫶🏻

Young Kirsten I have watched you grow over the years in Business and Personally , you have supported Dermalounge through the good times and the bad times all fuelled by caffeine and your witty sense of humour and lots of Country Music 🤠

Your work ethic is second to none , you have worked so hard over the years for everything you have achieved - I’m extremely proud of you 💕

I know I will be speaking for all of us girls in saying we are so grateful we get to work with you - ten years of tears, laughter , silliness, moods, rage , and everything in between 🤣 You make the hard days that little bit easier

Last year we all got to watch you become Mrs Kirkland which was so special 💕

The exciting part of getting to work with each other is getting to be part of big things in your own personal life that mean a lot to you - that makes all the late nights and early mornings that bit easier. Your clients love you and So do we 😍

“The Pause Project”

Leigh and Myself have been busy creating something that means alot to us as we have seen first hand the incredible work our local hero’s do.

We created The Pause Project to recognise the women who give so much of themselves every single day. This is our way of offering them a moment to breathe, reset, and feel truly appreciated. The three local Cancer wards are very close to our heart and we have though long and hard about a way we can give back - and we feel this is a lovely way not only for us to give back but also for YOU as the team doing all the work to recognise fellow work colleague you admire.

There is nothing nicer than feeling like you are truly appreciated.

Launching the 1st of April for Nominations - we will be running this until April 2027.

🌿 The Pause Project — Key Points & Gentle Rules

• Anyone can nominate a colleague who works in , Ayr Kyle chemotherapy Ward, or the Crosshouse Chemotherapy Unit. You will tag on the post each month (manual nominations can be made if social media is not an option)

• Your nominee must be a nurse or healthcare assistant in one of those units.

• Nominations open on the 1st of each month, and two winners in total will be chosen at month‑end.

• One nomination per person — simple and fair.

• Treatments must be used within 8 weeks of winning.

• Treatments can’t be gifted or transferred.

• Not available with any other offers.

• And because recognition grows when it’s shared… please share this post so it reaches the women who deserve it most.

Starting off with a “night in” at a beautiful lodge for our “Christmas night out” next week 🧖🏽‍♀️
