A little progress update from this tattoo removal journey ✨

It’s not fully faded yet, but you can already see the difference. Tattoo removal takes time and usually needs a course of treatments, with the number of sessions varying from person to person.

We’ll continue gradually and let the skin recover between appointments. If you’re thinking about having a tattoo removed, I’m happy to talk you through what to expect at a consultation.

I’m officially Level 6 qualified! 🤍

I’m incredibly proud to share that I have been awarded my Level 6 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice.

I started this qualification last year and can genuinely say it has been one of the most challenging and rewarding things I have undertaken professionally.

It has been an intense year of study, assessments and clinical practice, requiring a huge amount of discipline and commitment, all while running Swinley Laser & Aesthetics, treating my clients and opening my second clinic in Datchet!

There have been long days, late nights and moments when I wondered why I had taken quite so much on, which makes finally receiving this certificate feel even more special.

But what I’m most proud of is how much I have developed as a practitioner throughout the process.

My knowledge and clinical practice have grown enormously. It has strengthened the way I assess, consult and plan treatments, deepened my understanding of skin and anatomy, and made me even more considered in the decisions I make for my clients.

For me, being a good practitioner isn’t simply about knowing how to perform a treatment. It’s understanding why you’re doing it, whether it is genuinely right for that individual and, equally importantly, knowing when not to treat.

When someone trusts me with their skin or their face, I never take that responsibility lightly. Continuing my education and raising my clinical standards will always be a huge part of what I do.

6+ years into building Swinley Laser & Aesthetics, now with two clinics and my Level 6 completed, this feels like a very special milestone.

A year of hard work, discipline and growth and one very proud Level 6 Aesthetics Practitioner. 🤍

VISIBLE THREAD VEINS | ONE SESSION ✨

Small facial thread veins and broken capillaries can become more noticeable over time, particularly around the cheeks and nose and skincare alone won’t remove them.

This client came to me concerned about visible redness and thread veins across the cheek.

The result you’re seeing here is after just ONE treatment.

By precisely targeting the visible vessels, we can gradually reduce their appearance while leaving the surrounding skin unaffected.

Further treatment may be recommended depending on the number, depth and size of the vessels but this is a beautiful improvement from a single session.

If facial redness, broken capillaries or visible thread veins are something you’ve been covering with makeup, it may be worth treating the cause rather than simply concealing it.
