PMU is not a replacement for your make up ,it’s an enhancement.
It’s a very powerful tool to have in my kit but I’m sadly not a witch,its not a magic spell and it won’t and should not be bold and unnatural,I still want you to look like YOU-just better!
Lip blush can give you the illusion of fuller lips by adding colour back to the areas of the lip,usually the vermillion border,that lose colour as we age,some of us just have naturally pale lips to begin with,by balancing uneven lip tone(neutralisation) and it can also add definition and symmetry but it does not add volume.
PMU brows can add depth,shape and the illusion of more hair but it won’t actually make your brows grow.
When we give a client permenant make up there are so many factors to take into consideration first,their features,their undertone,colourings,current symmetry,clients age and skin type,the condition of the area being tattooed,clients goals,then pigment choices based on all the above and so much more ,but first and foremost the clients best interests & how it will heal are most important.

Did a little cover up today,bit of a tricky one as we didn’t have symmetry in our side to begin with,so a bit of faffing around with the stencil was needed before I could get stuck in and sort this one out

Had the lovely Karen in today for a re work of her previous microbladed brows (not by me)
Having had multiple sessions of blading Karen wanted to opt for something to cover her old now very faded and blurred hair strokes so we opted for a timeless powder brow
If you have old microblading that just isn’t looking it’s best anymore then this may be a good solution for you too,powder brows offer a higher coverage look that’s especially good at covering old faded strokes and giving you a more natural make up effect look ,saves you using as much brow pencil too!

Sometimes the tattoo may not be huge but when it has this many details it takes TIME,we did this and 2 other little ones in one session

You cannot compare yourself to anyone but you,you are your own worst enemy & will judge yourself the harshest ,but that’s what makes you the best competitor for yourself!
Do the damn course,invest in you,practice like your life depends on it be kind to yourself while your learning.
Everyone is at a different stage of their own journey,focus on yours not on tearing yourself down against someone who is years ahead of you 🫶
Your PMU top up is your chance to adjust anything that might not quite be right,that could be deepening the colour slightly,all over or just on the borders or touching up any tiny imperfections or bits that may have lost a little colour through the healing stage,sometimes due to lots of outside factors it happens,I.E if you’ve been eating lots of spicy food during healing,picking off the peeling or snogging your boyfriend when I told you not to,naughty naughty!
This is your “perfecting” session,small tweaks to complete your blush-not everyone needs/nor wants a top up but it’s there & included if you do.
Blush top up is done no sooner than 8 weeks and side note; you must be within your top up time frame for this to be included in the cost of your service,anything outside this window will incurr further charges so make sure you book your top ups

I’m all about vibes & energy matching but the last thing I want is for you not to feel completely comfortable with me and it’s so important to be clear on the policies from the very start so we both know the boundaries,the policies aren’t in place to spite you or to be harsh ,they’re there to protect us both,clear communication is key and I’m a firm believer in making sure everyone knows exactly where they stand.
