12 tubes needing replaced in bed 2 😤 majority oil damage!
The fan in bed 1 is needing replaced.
I can only assume this is with putting in coins and not waiting for the fan to finish its cool down period before placing another one in. And 2 tubes replaced.
The joys of running your own salon I suppose.

There will be a few changes happening in the salon over the next few weeks!

New rules will be enforced for within the tanning beds. I would like to keep these beds in tip top condition! 🙏

I will NOT be retubing bed 2. We are replacing the bad ones with tubes we have spare.

I said I was going to do this months ago but Life has been hectic! lol
But we will clean down the bed properly so we can still use it until our new one is ordered. Fingers crossed it’s in stock. 🤞

As we already said… all 3 beds will be getting cleaned today.
This isn’t a 2 minute job and I don’t fancy spending my WHOLE weekend in the salon.
So we will be starting the BIG CLEAN as soon as our doors open.
That means that one room will be off limits while we get going.
And then each room in turn.

We will keep the lay down and one stand up available for our clients at all times.

We are saving the best for last… not only is bed 3 getting a clean but it’s also getting retubed today! 🔥
As of next week, timings on the lay down will be restricted. 🚫

🚨 IMPORTANT CUSTOMER NOTICE: STRICT PRODUCT BAN 🚨
To ensure the safety of our clients and the integrity of our equipment, Bronzed & Beyond enforces a strict ban on specific tanning products inside our sunbeds.
Effective immediately, the following products are STRICTLY PROHIBITED inside all tanning booths:
* ❌ All Outdoor Tanning Oils (including Carrot Oil, Coconut Oil, and Fox Tan oils)
* ❌ Baby Oils & Mineral Oils
* ❌ High-Street/Drugstore Spray Oils
* ❌ Any non-specialist or home-made oil mixtures

Why is this ban enforced?
1. Severe Equipment Damage: When outdoor oils are heated by UV lamps, they atomise and pool on the equipment. This causes the high-pressure UV tubes and acrylic guards to physically melt, warp, and bubble, permanently destroying the machines.
2. Explosion & Fire Hazard: Oil residue creates extreme "hot spots" on the glass tubes, causing a direct risk of the lamps shattering or exploding during a session, or triggering an electrical fire.
3. Slip & Hygiene Risk: Oils do not wash away with standard salon sanitizers. They leave a dangerous, greasy film on the floors and bars, creating a severe slip hazard for the next client.

Permitted Products:
You may only use specialist, water-based Indoor Tanning Lotions and Accelerators that are explicitly labeled as “Sunbed / Acrylic Safe.” These must be fully rubbed into the skin before entering the booth.

⚠️ Terms of Service:
Any client found using banned oils inside the booths will have their session terminated immediately without a refund. Furthermore, anyone caught causing oil damage to the machines will be held liable for the cost of replacement tubes and engineering repairs, and will face a permanent ban from the salon.
