So very true

I thought becoming a great Massage Therapist meant learning as much as I possibly could. More techniques. More anatomy. More ways to “fix” what was hurting. But I’ve learned that some of the most important lessons had very little to do with technique. Slow down. Stay curious. Stay humble. Listen. Honor the person on your table. Take care of your own body. Know that you don’t have to fix everything. And never lose the joy of being fascinated by the human body. This work has taught me so much—not just about massage, but about people, pain, resilience, connection, and what it means to truly care for another person. And after 25 years, I’m still learning. Still curious. Still humbled. Still grateful. And still incredibly proud to be a Massage Therapist. ❤️ If you’re a Massage Therapist, what’s one thing this work has taught you that you wish you knew when you started?

Seeing clients make progress
Therapists often value the small changes: a client returning to an activity, moving with greater confidence or managing everyday life more comfortably. Massage does not deserve all the credit, but contributing to that progress can be deeply satisfying. 📈😊
