It’s not just about the tan itself — what you wear and how you look after it after your appointment can make such a difference to how beautifully your tan develops and how long it lasts 🤎

💧 Plenty of water — staying hydrated helps keep your skin healthy and happy, which is important for a smooth, even tan.

👗 Loose, dark clothing — and ideally long sleeves and long bottoms! This helps prevent your freshly tanned skin from rubbing against itself, especially around areas like your arms, thighs and legs. Skin-on-skin contact can cause the developing tan to rub or crease, so keeping yourself covered in loose clothing is your best friend!

🩴 Easy footwear — avoid tight shoes that can rub against your fresh tan and make your feet sweat.

☔ Umbrella — because we’re in Scotland 😂 Keep that fresh tan protected from rain and moisture on your journey home!

🎀 Tie your hair up — keeping your hair off your face, neck and back helps prevent rubbing and uneven development.
