Good morning! Another beautiful day in Banff, and things are starting to turn golden and crispy so it’s absolutely time to dive headfirst in to Autumn celebrations 🥳🙌🏻🍂

As promised, we have home baked cakes for all our customers to enjoy while it lasts (chocolate Guinness &
Spiced rhubarb and apple) along with tea… so pop in for a browse and a natter! You’re all very welcome 🥰🍂🍂🍂🍂✨✨✨

SALE GOODIES - in the back!

While we were doing the changeover we had a good sort through stock and rounded up the wee random bits that seem to accumulate in a shop 🫣😅 so we have a really nice pile of goodies at 40% off and another pile with 70% off!!

Think vases, T-shirts (seconds), books with small amount of damage, seasonal items, end of line stranglers, leather slippers in last two sizes, prints, ceramic seconds, honestly - SO MUCH, and lots in perfect condition we just need the space.

I’d say good morning, but I think we all know the world is a little less brighter today upon waking knowing Ms Dolly Parton is no longer earthside. Feels pretty cruel to lose another real life angel when there’s so much darkness crawling the earth these days… 😭

But focussing on the good, we’re all finished up with our stock changeover and Autumn 🍂 has come to PETAL HQ. So many pumpkins, mushrooms and lovely things to help ease us in to the harvest season… we are here today 10-4, and tomorrow there will be cake and drinks served in store 10-5.30 if you’d like to pop in and browse the new collection.

We are closed today, and Tuesday, for our seasonal changeover - Autumn stock has landed (more specific Halloween 👻 🎃 stock to follow in a couple of weeks!) and of course we’re playing the usual game of shop jenga trying to get everything turned around and back to tidied! Here is a little sneak peek of the main table - so much for the mushroom and pumpkin lovers 🙌🏻✨

We aim to be back open on Wednesday, and will be having a special autumn promotion day on Thursday and Friday (there may be cake 👀)… will share more sneak peeks tomorrow!!

Absolutely love this gorgeous book, Wild Basketry. For anyone with a garden, or who loves to be outdoors, this will teach you how to use and gather plants (especially at this time of year) and turn them into baskets and natural cordage… so fascinating (and yes, rather niche!) but how fab to turn what becomes waste, in to something you can keep and use? 🙌🏻✨
