I've had a few people asking if Filly Green Bangor is closing because we've opened Filly Green Holywood...

Absolutely not. 😅

Bangor isn't going anywhere. In fact, it's busier than ever.

Holywood is simply an extra location, giving clients another option and allowing Filly Green to grow. Think of it as gaining a sister salon, not losing the original.

So don't panic if you're a Bangor client – you'll still find me, the team, and all your favourite treatments right where we've always been.

"I don't want powder brows because I don't want them to look too dark or tattooed."

And honestly, I get it. A lot of people hear the words powder brows and imagine big, blocky brows that look drawn on.

But modern powder brows are nothing like that.

As you can see from these photos, powder brows can be soft, natural and beautifully defined. The treatment creates a gentle pixelated shading effect through the brow, giving the appearance of fuller brows and subtle makeup without harsh lines.

Every set is tailored to the individual. We choose the shape, colour and density based on your features, skin type and the look you want to achieve.

These brows will soften by around 30-40% during healing and we'll perfect them at the top-up appointment.

Motorists heading into Bangor City Centre this summer are set to benefit from a welcome boost, with the Flagship Centre multi-storey car park due to offer free parking from 1 July until September.

The move will provide hundreds of conveniently located parking spaces right in the heart of the city centre, helping shoppers, visitors, diners and those attending events make the most of Bangor's increasingly busy summer season.

The announcement also comes as proposals continue to emerge for the future transformation of the wider Flagship Centre site. As previously reported by BangorByTheSea, the emerging "Marina Village" concept could see the long-vacant complex reinvented with a mix of leisure, food and beverage, family entertainment, recreation, business space and other city-centre attractions.

For now, however, the immediate benefit is welcome: from 1 July, visitors can park free of charge in one of Bangor's largest car parks and enjoy everything the city centre has to offer during the peak summer period.
