Getting your makeup done should be the easy bit 😂🤍

You don’t need to turn up knowing your undertone, what eye shape you have or whether the look you’ve saved is technically “soft glam” or “natural glam”… that’s literally my job.

But there ARE a few things you can do that make it so much easier for me to understand what you actually want because “natural” to one person can be a full face to another 👀

So I’ve put together the things I genuinely find most helpful when you sit in my chair.

No rules. No judgement. And I promise you’re never being “difficult” by telling me what you do and don’t like 😂

“But I only want natural makeup…”

I hear this ALL the time, usually questioning if natural makeup should be quicker or cost less.

But here’s the thing… natural doesn’t mean less work. It means a different finish.

Making skin look like skin while still correcting, evening and perfecting it takes precision. Knowing where you need coverage and more importantly, where you don’t, is what stops natural glam becoming heavy glam.

You’re still getting the skin prep, longevity, colour correction, individual placement and all the little details that make it last and photograph beautifully… we’re just making sure you notice her before you notice the makeup. 🤌🏼

And coming from someone who never used to be a natural glam girly… I fear I’m being converted 😂

Natural makeup doesn't require less makeup artist skill.. It’s just a different kind of makeup artistry that can actually be much more difficult to perfect with longevity

THIS is why makeup trials matter 👏🏼

This lovely Mother of the Groom originally wanted something a little softer than her usual makeup, so that’s what we tried, we even used half the appointment as a little 1-1 lesson

But afterwards she realised…
she missed her makeup 😂

She’s used to more coverage, Smokey eyes without lashes.That’s what makes her feel like her.

For the retrial we did just that🤎✨

But I’m always really particular about keeping the base smooth, fresh and skin-like, never dry or cakey. It’s all in the prep, placement, layering and knowing when to stop adding product.
