I’ve not done one of these since I started back renting at Iris Beauty… and HOW has it been over 2 years already?! Time is flying!

So, I thought it was probably about time I introduced myself again, especially as I’ve gained some lovely new followers and clients since coming back. 💗

So… Heyy!👋🏼

I’ve been in the beauty industry since leaving school at 16, and I’m now 30, so I’ve had a fair few years to get as many courses under my belt as possible!

One of the big ones was spending 3 years at college studying for my Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification. Since then, I’ve completed lots of other courses, including my Pathway to Aesthetics course, which means I can offer clinical facials. ✨

I don’t offer Botox or fillers, as it’s personally not something I agree with offering unless you’re a nurse etc. In my opinion, you need to have the medical knowledge and skills to be able to rectify something if anything goes wrong, which, as a beauty therapist, I’m not qualified to do. So I’ll stick to making your skin glow and targeting any skin concerns you may have ✨

My favourite treatments to do are definitely HD Brow Sculpt, eyelash perms and clinical facials! 🤍

Now for some random facts about me that you probably didn’t ask for but are getting anyway… 😝👇🏼

🏡 My husband and I are currently renovating our new house. I’m absolutely loving it… but I’ll also be very happy when I don’t have to think about what needs doing anymore, I just want to paint and decorate and make everything look pretty, like now! 😆

♑️ I’m quite into astrology, so shoutout to all my fellow Earth signs! I’m a true cap, might be a little stubborn and probably not much filter 🤭 but definitely goal oriented and thrive in being a perfectionist 🐐🌍

🧬 I love researching the science behind the human body and dog behaviour. The nerdy side of me coming out here, but I find it so interesting!

🐾 We sadly lost our beautiful dog Simba in October last year, which was honestly the most devastating thing ever. He was the best pup we could have ever wished for, and we miss him more than words can say. We could never replace him but the house isn’t the same without a dog so we are welcoming a little Gordon Setter puppy in September, which I can’t wait to be obsessed with! 🤍

🐶 And talking of dogs… I also have a dog-walking business, which I’ve been running for 6 years! I absolutely love it — getting outside, spending my mornings/early afternoons with dogs is the best!
