π§ Friendly Foot Care Reminder! π£
Have you moisturised your feet today?
Just a few minutes of care can make a big difference. Regular moisturising helps to:
β¨ Keep skin soft and supple
β¨ Prevent dry, cracked heels
β¨ Reduce discomfort from hard skin
β¨ Maintain healthy-looking feet
Top tip: Apply moisturiser daily, especially before bed, and don't forget the heels and soles. Just avoid putting cream between the toes, as excess moisture there can encourage fungal infections.

π Diabetes & Looking After Your Feet π£
When youβre living with diabetes, caring for your feet is more important than many people realise.
Diabetes can reduce circulation and affect sensation in the feet, meaning small problems like dry skin, cracks, blisters, or cuts may go unnoticed and become more serious if left untreated.
Simple daily foot care can help keep your feet healthy and protected.
βοΈ Check your feet every day for cuts, redness, swelling, or cracks
βοΈ Wash and dry feet carefully, especially between the toes
βοΈ Moisturise dry skin to help prevent cracking
βοΈ Avoid walking barefoot
βοΈ Wear comfortable, supportive footwear
βοΈ Seek medical advice if you notice any wounds or changes
Healthy feet start with daily care π

I often get told "I have no idea how it started!"
π€ Wondering where toenail fungus comes from?
Toenail fungus is a common condition that occurs when fungal organisms get underneath or into the nail. These fungi thrive in warm, damp environments, making places like communal changing rooms, swimming pools, and sweaty footwear ideal breeding grounds.
You may be more at risk if you:
π¦Ά Have athlete's foot
π Wear tight or non-breathable shoes
π¦ Have feet that sweat excessively
π©Ή Have damaged nails or skin around the nail
π©Ί Have certain health conditions that affect circulation or immunity
Signs of fungal nail infection can include:
βοΈ Thickened nails
βοΈ Yellow, white, or brown discolouration
βοΈ Brittle or crumbly nails
βοΈ Changes in nail shape
The good news is that treatment options are available, and early intervention often leads to better outcomes.
If you're concerned about changes to your toenails, a Foot Health Practitioner can assess the condition and advise on the most appropriate treatment plan.

β¨ 12 Years in Business β¨
This year marks 12 incredible years of being self-employed, and what a journey it has been!
I started out in the nail industry, working as a mobile technician and travelling to my clients. As my business grew, I moved into a small back room in Hair By Eid, where I continued building my client base and developing my skills.
Over the years, my passion for helping people led me into the world of foot care. What started as a nail business evolved into something much bigger, allowing me to support clients with their foot health, comfort, and confidence.
Today, I'm proud to be working from my very own space β something that once felt like a distant dream. Looking back, I'm incredibly grateful for every client who has supported me along the way, recommended my services, trusted me with their care, and helped make this journey possible.
From mobile appointments, to a room at the back of a salon, to having my own dedicated work space, every step has been part of an amazing adventure.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of these 12 years. Here's to the next chapter! ππ£
