Applying oil to the ends of your hair before shampooing (pre shampoo oiling) will help protect the most fragile part of your hair. The ends are the oldest section of the hair shaft and tend to be the driest and most prone to damage.

Here are the main benefits:

THE BIGGY 👉🏻 * Reduces moisture loss: Shampoo can strip some of the hair’s natural oils. Applying oil beforehand helps the ends retain moisture and feel less dry after washing.

* Helps prevent breakage: Lubricated hair experiences less friction during washing and detangling, which can reduce snapping and split ends.

* Protects against swelling damage: Hair repeatedly swells when wet and shrinks as it dries. Some oils—particularly coconut oil—can reduce how much water enters the hair, potentially limiting this type of damage.

* Makes detangling easier: Oiled ends tend to be smoother, making knots easier to work through after washing.

* Improves softness and shine: Oils smooth the hair cuticle, which can make the ends look healthier and feel silkier.

📍Apply oil to your ends 15 minutes before shampooing and comb through ensuring to detangle throughly

📍DO NOT skip your usual oiling on dry hair before bedtime. Both are just as important
